140,000 people, hailing from more than seventy different nations, came to Georgia for three days last weekend for TomorrowWorld; the Olympics of Electronic Dance Music (EDM).br /br /With such a large crowd coming to a rural part of the metropolitan Atlanta area, one would expect large traffic problems to follow. In Atlanta, after all, road congestion is an accepted way of life. If one ventured down to south Fulton County during TomorrowWorld, however, they would have been shocked at what they found.br /br /Motorists experienced speed limit conditions along South Fulton Parkway, Hwy. 138, and Hwy. 92; all roads that led to TomorrowWorld. There were very few complaints of traffic nightmares, featuring highways turned into parking lots. It was a breeze for local residents to make it safely home.br /br /How did they do it? How did a three day music festival, with 140,000 in attendance, manage to minimize traffic congestion in a city known to be among the worst to drive in?br /br /Through open records requests filed with Fulton County government, Georgia Unfiltered learned that TomorrowWorld organizers hired Belgian firm a href="http://www.sceltamobility.be/nl/"Scelta Mobility/a to develop a transportation and mobility plan for the festival. The plan featured estimates of more than 10,000 cars on the local roads and routes organizers would use to bring festival-goers to and from TomorrowWorld each day.br /br /Below is the TomorrowWorld Traffic and Mobility Plan:br /br /iframe frameborder="1" width="480" height="600" src="https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/6jb5ab9gj2d0c58/TomorrowWold%20T%26M%20Plan.pdf"/iframebr /br /br /div class="feedflare"a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/GeorgiaPoliticsUnfiltered?a=Wv2ZgzGzJQU:2PjWpoh7Q6U:yIl2AUoC8zA"img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/GeorgiaPoliticsUnfiltered?d=yIl2AUoC8zA" border="0"/img/a a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/GeorgiaPoliticsUnfiltered?a=Wv2ZgzGzJQU:2PjWpoh7Q6U:63t7Ie-LG7Y"img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/GeorgiaPoliticsUnfiltered?d=63t7Ie-LG7Y" border="0"/img/a a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/GeorgiaPoliticsUnfiltered?a=Wv2ZgzGzJQU:2PjWpoh7Q6U:dnMXMwOfBR0"img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/GeorgiaPoliticsUnfiltered?d=dnMXMwOfBR0" border="0"/img/a a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/GeorgiaPoliticsUnfiltered?a=Wv2ZgzGzJQU:2PjWpoh7Q6U:F7zBnMyn0Lo"img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/GeorgiaPoliticsUnfiltered?i=Wv2ZgzGzJQU:2PjWpoh7Q6U:F7zBnMyn0Lo" border="0"/img/a a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/GeorgiaPoliticsUnfiltered?a=Wv2ZgzGzJQU:2PjWpoh7Q6U:7Q72WNTAKBA"img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/GeorgiaPoliticsUnfiltered?d=7Q72WNTAKBA" border="0"/img/a a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/GeorgiaPoliticsUnfiltered?a=Wv2ZgzGzJQU:2PjWpoh7Q6U:V_sGLiPBpWU"img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/GeorgiaPoliticsUnfiltered?i=Wv2ZgzGzJQU:2PjWpoh7Q6U:V_sGLiPBpWU" border="0"/img/a a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/GeorgiaPoliticsUnfiltered?a=Wv2ZgzGzJQU:2PjWpoh7Q6U:qj6IDK7rITs"img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/GeorgiaPoliticsUnfiltered?d=qj6IDK7rITs" border="0"/img/a a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/GeorgiaPoliticsUnfiltered?a=Wv2ZgzGzJQU:2PjWpoh7Q6U:l6gmwiTKsz0"img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/GeorgiaPoliticsUnfiltered?d=l6gmwiTKsz0" border="0"/img/a a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/GeorgiaPoliticsUnfiltered?a=Wv2ZgzGzJQU:2PjWpoh7Q6U:KwTdNBX3Jqk"img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/GeorgiaPoliticsUnfiltered?i=Wv2ZgzGzJQU:2PjWpoh7Q6U:KwTdNBX3Jqk" border="0"/img/a a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/GeorgiaPoliticsUnfiltered?a=Wv2ZgzGzJQU:2PjWpoh7Q6U:gIN9vFwOqvQ"img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/GeorgiaPoliticsUnfiltered?i=Wv2ZgzGzJQU:2PjWpoh7Q6U:gIN9vFwOqvQ" border="0"/img/a a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/GeorgiaPoliticsUnfiltered?a=Wv2ZgzGzJQU:2PjWpoh7Q6U:TzevzKxY174"img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/GeorgiaPoliticsUnfiltered?d=TzevzKxY174" border="0"/img/a/divimg src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/GeorgiaPoliticsUnfiltered/~4/Wv2ZgzGzJQU" height="1" width="1"/
